SSERB FAQ
1. Can I pay for ethics review fee online?
Yes, we have several platforms available for payment of review fees:
a. You can pay for SSERB fees on our website thru Paypal. Go to the Payment Center on our website, click on "SSERB Payment," and select the type of service you wish to avail of. You will then be directed to the Paypal portal. Click "Add to Cart" then log in to your Paypal account.
b. You can pay via bank deposit or transfer. Once you have deposited your payment to our account, please send the proof of payment to sserb@pssc.org.ph.
c. You can also pay by dropping by the Secretariat Office at the PSSCenter.
We will issue an official receipt once we have confirmed your payment.
2. Is the ethics review fee refundable?
No, PSSC-SSERB’s ethics review fees are nonrefundable.
3. Who do I contact if I have questions?

PSSC MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT FAQ
1. Can I pay for the PSSC membership fee online?
Yes, we have several platforms available for payment of membership fees:
a. You can pay for membership fees on our website thru Paypal. Go to the Payment Center on our website and select the service you want to purchase. The page will direct you to the Paypal portal. Click "Add to Cart" then log in to your Paypal account.
b. You can pay for your membership fee via bank deposit or transfer. Once you have deposited your payment to our account, please send an email with proof of payment to the officer with whom you are in correspondence.
c. You can also pay for membership fees by dropping by the Secretariat Office at the PSSCenter.
We will issue you an official receipt once we have confirmed your payment.

PMRN MEMBERSHIP PAYMENT FAQ
1. Can I pay for PMRN membership fee online?
Yes, we have several platforms available for payment of membership fees:
a. You can pay for the PMRN membership fee on the PSSC website thru Paypal. Go to the Payment Center on our website and select the service you want to purchase. The page will direct you to the Paypal portal. Click "Add to Cart" then log in to your Paypal account.
b. You can pay for your PMRN membership fee via bank deposit or transfer. Once you have deposited your payment to our account, please send an email with proof of payment to pmrn@pssc.org.ph.
c. You can also pay for membership fees by dropping by the Secretariat Office at the PSSCenter.
We will issue you an official receipt and a certificate of membership once we have confirmed your payment.

CENTER RESERVATION FAQ
1. How do I book a reservation for an event?
You can book a reservation on our website. Down payment (hereinafter referred to as “Deposit Fee”) equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the gross amount of the Rental Fee shall be made upon confirmation or upon signing of the Agreement. The remaining 50% or balance of the Rental Fee, together with all remaining charges such as service and utility charges shall be settled on the last day of the function.
We also accept reservations made via telephone or email. You may call Mr. Ernie Acosta, Administrative Assistant, at (632) 8929-5179 or send us an email at cmas@pssc.org.ph.
2. What payment methods do you accept?
You may pay using a debit card, credit card, or Paypal account. We also accept post-dated cheques as payment, in which case you will need to drop by our Admin Office at the Philippine Social Science Center.
You may find and select these payment methods upon checkout.
3. Do I need to pay in advance to book a reservation?
You will need to deposit 50% of the total amount to book a reservation. This Deposit Fee will serve as down payment and will be subtracted from your total bill.
4. How do I know that my reservation is confirmed?
Once you have completed the reservation process and paid the Deposit Fee, we will send you a confirmation email. The email will contain your reservation details and the Center’s contact details. We advise you to print it out.
5. How do I refund my reservation fee?
In case of cancellation by the Client of his/her reservation for whatever reason, twenty-five percent (25%) of the Deposit Fee shall be forfeited in favor of PSSC. The PSSC shall be notified of the cancellation at least 24 hours before the said function. Otherwise, the entire Rental Fee shall remain due and demandable, with PSSC forfeiting the Deposit Fee and the Client settling the balance of the Rental Fee within three (3) days from presentation of the bill.
In case of force majeure or fortuitous events such as earthquakes, typhoons, pandemic, wars or riots, PSSC shall retain ten percent (10%) of the Deposit Fee as commitment fee and administrative charges. The remaining forty percent (40%) of the Deposit Fee shall be refunded less any other charges or fees due from the Client within five (5) working days from the end of the force majeure or fortuitous event.
EVENTS FAQ
1. Can I pay for event registration fees online?

a. You can pay for event registration fees on our website thru Paypal. Go to the Payment Center on our website and select the service you want to purchase. The page will direct you to the Paypal portal. Click "Add to Cart" then log in to your Paypal account.
b. You can pay for your event registration fees via bank deposit or transfer. Once you have deposited your payment to our account, please send an email with proof of payment to the officer with whom you are in correspondence.
c. You can also pay for event registration fees by dropping by the Secretariat Office at the PSSCenter.
We will issue you an official receipt once we have confirmed your payment.
2. If I will not be able to attend the event, can I request a refund of my registration fee?
We shall accept refund requests until one week before the start of the event. In such cases, we will refund fifty percent (50%) of the registration fee already paid. You may also opt to transfer your registration to another person who can attend the event.
