Membership |
Membership at PSSC is disciplinal or associational. From an initial membership of six, PSSC now has a network of 14 regular member-organizations and 37 associate member-organizations. Regular members are composed of 14 professional social science associations/societies representing the disciplines of anthropology, communication, demography, economics, geography, history, linguistics, political science, psychology, public administration, social work, sociology and statistics. Associate members include 37 academic/research and training institutions/centers doing related work in the social sciences as well as social development organizations. Regular and associate members meet once a year, every third Saturday of February.
