Research Award Program

The Research Award Program provides modest financial grants to graduate students in the
social sciences to enable them to complete their thesis or dissertation work in any of the
following fields of study: anthropology, communication, demography, economics, geography,
history, linguistics, political science, psychology, public administration, social work, sociology
and statistics. Graduate students in other fields whose thesis or dissertation topics are related to
the social sciences are also eligible for support under the program.
